Questions & Answers

What is Amy Polson's Community BikeXchange:

The Community BikeXchange is an online website dedicated to helping anyone find a good used bike. Families know that kids grow up fast, and buying a new bike every year, seems like such a waste when there are lots of really good bikes laying around in peoples basements or garages.

How does it work?

It's simple really. Just post your bike for sale or trade or "give away to a good home" on the BikeXchange. People from the community who are interested, reach out to you the way you want them to, like by email or by phone. You meet, and sell or trade your bike. It's that easy.

Is there any cost of using the site?

None whatsoever. Just treat your neighbours with respect and only post bikes you really wish to Xchange and only contact people if you are serious about getting an almost new bike.

It's good for the environment, and it's good for the community.

Why does Amy Polson sponsor the BikeXchange?

Two reasons really.

One - as a mom with three young kids always growing out of bikes, Amy knows the challenge of keeping kids in bikes every year. Bikes that fit right are important for safety, fun, fitness and empowerment for the kids.

Two - Amy is an avid rider herself and participates in the Ride to Conquer Cancer 2 day ride to Niagara Falls every year. Biking is a great way to keep fit and to give something back to the community.
