Before we met you, Martin and
I had been looking for a house for over 7 months. We were extremely frustrated
by the high prices, the lack of decent homes, the bidding wars and the
disappointing agents we had along the way.
Then in November of 2007 we
had the pleasure and good fortune to meet you. Within 1.5 months, we had
found a great home in a great neighbourhood and sold our existing home
for a good price.
I found a lot of agents were
very eager to make less desirable areas or houses seem more appealing to
get the sale. You always gave an honest opinion about areas that were not
suitable and it was appreciated especially because we have a baby. The
listings you sent us always had little notes, which showed us you’d taken
the time to go through them, rather than rely solely on the computer generated
listings. I always felt that you genuinely cared about what was best for
us. You were always available. For someone with 3 small children, I am
amazed at how quick you are responding to emails and phone messages. You’re
always positive and professional; a true pleasure to work with.
The fact that your hard work
didn’t end upon the closing or the sale is amazing. The little ‘issue’
with the owner who had vacated the house we bought was met with a swift
response of “I’m on it”; and the problem was resolved professionally and

We cannot say enough good things
about Amy: she was wonderful. Personally and professionally she proved
again and again that she was dedicated to making us feel like we were the
most important people that ever bought a house.
As first time home buyers, we
constantly bombarded Amy with all manner of question, at all times of the
day, and all times of the week. And it was rare when we didn't get a response
immediately (even if it was 9pm on a Sunday night). Amy was patient and
understanding, walking us through the things we needed to know.
As for looking for a house,
Amy was invaluable. She understood what we were looking for from the start,
and continuously showed us houses that we were sure to like. She even persuaded
us to look in pockets of the city that we had dismissed in our search.
(Occasionally, we'd wander into an Open House without her, and immediately
realise that we should stick to seeing houses with our agent!)
