Socially Distanced Garage Sale for the Red Door Family Shelter
Our beloved National Day of Shelter garage sale for the Red Door Family Shelter was cancelled this Spring due to COVID. Since the garage was already full (!)…and outdoor gathering rules in the City have opened up, we have decided to host a socially distanced garage sale. Yeah! September 19th, 8 am to 12 pm 71 Pine Cres. What has changed: – limited number of volunteers – masks and gloves to be worn by all participants and shoppers – reduced number of shoppers at one time – one way directional flow of buyer foot traffic – payment by e-transfer preferred
Market Snapshot for August
The numbers for August are in… Spring sprung late in 2020- double digit gains in price, volume of sales & number of listings. While condominiums show slower price gain…it is trending in the right direction. We can definitely remove the term “recovery” when talking about the Toronto freehold real estate market- it is STRONG…no other adjectives required! If you are in need of more specific information, please let me know.
Market Snapshot for July
I shied away from posting these during the first months of COVID- they did not tell the whole (real) story of the Toronto real estate market during this pandemic. Price declines varied greatly depending on type of housing ( vs ) as well as the price point (trading activity was basically non-existent in the 2mil+ homes). We started to see the signs of recovery at the end of May- would it hold?! June & July have been a testament to the resiliency of our TO real estate market…ok, the ultra low interest rates helped too 😉 The area market updates below for July
