Last year, in May 2025, Toronto MLS® reported 308 freehold detached home sales across Toronto – which is a 4% decrease in volume for this year. The Big Picture Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 132 detached home sales through the Toronto MLS® in December 2025; and on average, these detached homes sold for $2,060,322. Compare these numbers to December 2024 when Toronto MLS® reported 85 freehold detached home sales across Toronto, that on average sold for $2,336,357. This is a 55% increase in volume and a 12% decrease in sale price. With respect to semi-detached homes, Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 86 semi-detached home sales in December 2025; and on average, these semi-detached homes sold for $1,425,253. Sale prices were fairly flat in October, but we did see a significant increase in the number of sales across all types of housing.
