New Venue – Same Great Holiday Spirit!
We are excited to announce that our annual Family Holiday Celebration is BACK!
This year we will be in the McCowan Community cooking turkey & fixings for 150 kids and their families. The community focused holiday celebration will include not only a sit down meal for families but cookie decorating, crafts, a clothing drive & gifts for the kiddos too!
We feel a little rusty after our COVID pause and could most definitely use your skills to help make this event a success for the McCowan Community.
How can you lend a hand? Participate by:
1. Cooking! Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, mac & cheese, veggies etc. Turkeys will be provided. You can prepare item/s at home and drop it off at the venue @ 4PM or, we can arrange pick up for you.
2. Donate Gently Used Clothing! Any donations of clothing (especially warm clothing) are welcome and will be provided to the community on the day of the event.
3. Cookies! We need lots of cookies for kids to decorate.
4. Suggest! There is always something that can be added. Perhaps you have a skill or something to donate which will enhance this community meal? Ideas include: small centrepieces for the tables, a raffle prize … anything else you can think of!
