Year over year stats look at the big picture…they set the scene

But let’s zoom in and compare month over month, July & August.

The average sale price of a detached home was up 4%, while the average sale price of semi-detached & condo properties declined by a similar value.

On the ground, we have an influx of freehold homes into the market this week- are the Buyers out looking and ready to purchase, or are they waiting for another (more) interest rate decreases? The Bank of Canada’s next interest rate announcement will be Oct 23rd…stay tuned.
