Slow but steady was the theme of real estate sales in September. Inventory was not moving as quickly as it was in the Spring, but the decline in sales prices did not further advance either. A win!

On October 23rd Canada’s central bank announced a 0.5% decrease in the overnight lending rate (which now stands at 3.75%). Staying tuned for December 11th for further changes in the BOC policy rate.

Between interest rate decreases and some new mortgage rules coming into play on December 15th…it feels like a busy 2025 is on the horizon.
